At the start of the film, Dr. John Wilkinson is reporting quakes near Lacawanna County. Just before 7:38
pa. an 8.5 strikes leaving Liberty completely destroyed. And then near Blossburg pa. a 7.6 strikes leaving 3 towns destroyed. And then at the conclusion of the film, The ground gives way and sends a total destructive 9.7 ripping through Tioga. Mansfield is hit by a 9.1 on the Richter Scale. The ground gets worse in Wellsboro when they finally hit, they send a 9.2 through Wellsboro. Blossburg is struck by the shockwave and completely obliterated. The quake in all kills almost 200,000 people.
